If your PD were honest, you would tell people up front that this guest book is censored of all comments that are in any way critical. I'm sure "you are new yorks finest" and "Cops all around the U.S. are all under payed" makes your PD look like perfect sweethearts. Knowing how common censorship is, I made copies of other recent posts people made here. A few were vitriolic, but not all. John Morley said "You have not converted a man because you have silenced him." By practicing censorship in this forum (especially without telling posters ahead of time), you demonstrate yourselves to be the kind of people you are often accused of being.

I feel that Cops all around the U.S. are all under payed for what they do. I am going to be joining a Law Enforcement department myself and and just like the military not enough credit is given to the people who serve this country. I will admit that nobody does the job of a cop for the money though just like a teacher doesnt. You do it because you enjoy it. I would love to join the Suffolk County Police Department for a job but my wife will not move their. She would rather stay in Georgia. So I say to all my future bretheren of the police world thank you for the job you do. I am a native of Setauket, N.Y.
