Face: No, Mom takes the girl to a Baptist minister, Daryl Bujak, who 'counsels' the girl for a couple hours. Bujak then tells Mom the daughter is lying and should be punished.

Face: Pastor Bujak convinces Mom that weekly beatings with a piece of wood molding will cleanse away her daughter's sin. It left her with bruises and welts on her butt and legs.

Face: When the girl finally convinces Mom that she is well and truly being abused, Mom finally involves the cops. Matthew Resh is charged with multiple counts of predatory criminal sexual assault. The Rev. Bujak is charged with misdemeanor battery.
