 Four years ago this month, in a naïve time, when few citizens of the US realized what those in other countries knew too familiarly -- that the world is a dangerous, fucked-up place -- I played tourist in NYC. While there, I visited the World Trade Center and saw the city from the observation deck thing. Like millions of others tourists (I would guess) I took pictures. The WTC is now rubble. Given a world with includes extremists who believe they'll earn a better afterlife through mass murder, I sincerely doubt it will be built again. If you missed taking that elevator ride and looking down at the rest of the City, the experience has been forever removed from your reach. My pictures are a poor substitute, but it's all I have to offer.
